This lovely bookmark on the left is by Karey Solomon done
out of finca thread size 40(I think I got that correct.
It is a lattice type pattern. She stated that she made it long enough so that I could put it in a book and it would hang out
the edges and not get lost. :) Thank you Karey. It was a joy
to be your exchange partner.
The bookmark on the right is one that I kinda designed for Karey. It is made from DMC perle coton size 8. The leaves are from Ruth Scharf's book "Occhi". A wonderful book and a must have :) I took the leaves and intertwined them with a chain and ended it with a twisted chain for a tail. The rose is my own pattern. I just made it up, but I know that there are lots of those type of roses in books. It was a joy to design and give away. |
