I just got a pleasant surprise when I opened our local paper! A picture of me demonstrating bobbin lace at the ArtWalk that was being held last Friday.

Scrapbooking that one
Greetings from France,
My name is Brother François. I’m a Roman Catholic Religious brother and a lacemaker. I would love to see more of your work.

That is so freaking cool! not that you weren’t “history” before already, love it
Congratulations, this is fabulous!
Yes, Erin, I made the pillow. I make all my pillow. Too expensive otherwise! Plus I like making the pillows. It’s the woodworker in me
It is a Danish style roller pillow. I found a picture that showed the front, back and sides and used that as my model. Came up with my own construction. Roller pillows are much harder to construct than bolster or cookie pillows. I have a huge bag of straw that I will someday use to fill a Honiton pillow like Sherry’s.
Now, Sherry – only his hairdresser knows. . . .
Marky, I’m loving that pillow. Did you make it?
Who is that good looking guy? Do we know him?
congrats Mark, even if it wasnt’ tatting, at leas
The pic from newsprint and the colors are really off. Doesn’t do anyone justice. With the florescent lighting in the room and my hair turning ashy colored(not gray), it is a wonder.
You know Erin…we ALWAYS talk about the “ROCK STAR.” and here he is in the newspaper. Anyhow…congrats Mark. I do have one question for you…Is that a dyed hair job or what? I thought your hair color was alot like my brothers.
LOL!
Rock star!!! Mark is a rock star!!!
Congrats!
GR8 picture. WELL DONE!!!
