This is a pricking I made myself just from a shape that I drew up. It is done in half stitch with whole stitch on the edges. I added two extra twists to the outside pairs for stability. The thread used is Gutermann sewing cotton. My first real fine thread that I have used so far. The stem is worked in a cloth stitch with whole stitch on the edges. I am sure I did something wrong when I added extra pairs as I worked my way down the stem. The ends didn't hold up well. Will have to consult on how to properly add pairs. Live and learn. ;) |
